She completed medical school at Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a General Surgery residency at Affinity Medical Center in Ohio, where she served as Chief Resident. She later completed advanced fellowship training, building a strong foundation in anatomy, clinical decision-making, and patient care.
